Oil and Water Puzzle Pack
I : Wet Ratio
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Each cage is either full of "oil" (even digits), full of "water" (odd digits), or a mix of both. In all cases, each "row" within a cage is of just one type (oil or water). Oil floats on water, so even digits will always be in rows above odd digits in mixed cages.
Digits in cages do not repeat.
Some cages contain clues that indicate the "Wet Ratio" (oil/water). That is, the sum of oil digits divided by the sum of water digits. For example, a 4-cell cage with a clue of 2/3 could be satisfied with (2+6) / (3+9). For the purposes of this puzzle, a number N divided by zero is defined to be infinity.

Good fun, really like this ruleset. A tad too easy maybe.

My first puzzle to rate and to solve with my newly registered user. Even though I do watch a lot of CtC (Simon mainly), I am still a novice. To me the difficulty was adequate and I was able to solve it. Great Sudoku, fun logic interaction.

Coloring water and oil helped me a lot. It’s the perfect difficulty level for me.

Only 1*? I sometimes had a tough time with oil puzzles, even if I liked it, so this should be a treat.

Very smooth, and while I finished it faster than a typical 1*, I do think it’d be a little intimidating for new solvers. The Mini puzzle is a good intro to get over that hurdle.
