- Every group of cells containing a Vermicious Knid has the same sum.
- Every eyeball is a "numbered rooms" clue, i.e. its digit appears N steps away in the direction seen, where N is the first digit seen.
- Every eyeball has a different digit.

the rules are a bit vague... what is a "group of cells"? I had to guess and check to find out. I initially assumed each tail is a separate group, as it is in many other similar puzzles
