About This Puzzle
This is the penultimate edition of "Dazed Out", a puzzle series built around Chaos Construction. Before publishing the finale for the series, I wanted to craft a snack as an appetizer to lead up to the big puzzle at the end (which may take a while to be published, it is still early into setting).
RULES
  • 1. Chaos Construction: Divide the grid into 9 regions of 9 orthogonally connected cells. Place the digits 1–9 in every row, column and region exactly once each.
  • 2. Little Killers: Clues with an arrow (both outside, and inside the grid) show the sum of the digits on their diagonal. Additionally, all cells along the diagonal in the direction of the arrow belong to the same region, including the cell that contains the arrow.
  • 3. Full Rank: Considering all rows and columns as numbers read from the direction of the clue and ranked from lowest (1) to highest (36), ANY clue outside the grid (including little killer clues) represents where in the ranking that row/column lies.
  • 4. Secret Row: One row contains exactly one cell from each of the nine regions. The location of this row must be determined by the solver.
