The rules:
Chaos Construction Sudoku rules apply: Divide the grid into 9 orthogonally connected regions with 9 cells each. Place the digits 1-9 exactly once into every row, column, and region. It is up to the solver to determine where these regions are.
Chaos construction arrows: Arrows in the grid are attached to circles. If the digit in the circle is x, then the first region border in the direction of the arrow is x cells away. i.e. The first x cells in the direction of the arrow are part of the same region as x, and the x+1th cell is in a different region.
So if r9c7 is a 6, then r9c1-7 are part of the same region. If r9c7 is a 1, then r9c67 are part of the same region, and r9c5 is a different region.
Killer Cages: The digits in a cage sum to the value in the top left. Digits may not repeat in a cage.

Like some other commenters, I got very stuck in the middle and had a very hard time understanding the clean way through.

Region building was pretty straightforward but the sudoku part was really intricate. Each deduction after a while was very hard fought or maybe I missed some obvious point but great fun! Thanks a lot for sharing.

Thank you very much for creating and sharing this CC-puzzle. My thoughts are the same. After getting all the region borders I found myself in a heavy fight against the cages.

95% of the Region building was 2* and then the rest of the puzzle was 4*. Very fun!

really nice puzzle
in the beginning it flowed really smooth, after finding all the regions I got absolutely stuck, must have missed a clue :)
but overall I had a good time solving it
