Puzzle rules
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
On a green line adjacent digits must differ by at least 5 (standard German whisper)
Digits on a pink Renban line form a consecutive sequence with no repeats. The central cross is a single line.
If two digits are separated by a black dot, one must be twice the other. Two digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. (partial Kropki)

If you enjoyed this puzzle you might try N is for Naomi. It is a rather harder puzzle than this one - partly because It uses Dutch whispers. The logic bears a family resemblance to this puzzle, and if you have really understood all the logic of this one, you should be able to do "N is for Naomi" with some care and thought.

Of course it can feel straightforward, and indeed if a solver sees all the logic cleanly the puzzle can be solved in a 1* time (some people have reported such times in response to the CTC video). The more logic you see quickly, the easier it gets. But it can be quite hard for people who don't see/know the logic and rather longer times have also been posted. It is difficult to rate such a puzzle for difficulty - I knew that solving experiences would be quite varied. I am happy that everyone pitches in with their own view. This could possibly be my favorite sudoku I've ever solved! It seemed to surprise me over and over and I thought some of the logic was quite brilliant!

The title helped me to break in. Lots of interesting tricks of the trade need to be used to crack this open. 3* difficulty and a beautifully constructed puzzle.

Brilliant puzzle. Not particularly difficult (at least, for anyone who recognises the geometry), but you've managed to combine some familiar tricks in a way that feels genuinely novel, which I can't imagine is easy to do.
