The Snug Bug

(Published on 17. September 2025, 15:00 by Allagem)

This is the second puzzle to use Snug Between Lines, which is a twist on Between Lines that I invented! Snug Between Lines are normal Between Lines with the addition that the digits in the circles must be consecutive with at least one digit on the line. The Between Line is "snug" in the sense that there is no gap between the digits on the line and the digits in the circles! This extra restriction makes Between Lines more powerful and leads to some interesting interactions. I hope you like this new variant!

Otherwise, have fun and beware The Snug Bug!

Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Snug Between Lines: Digits on a line between two circles must have values between the digits in the circles. Each circle digit must be consecutive with at least one digit on the line.

For example, (2)-7-3-5-(8) is a valid fill for a Snug Between Line.
Note: If a circle digit belongs to more than one line, it must be consecutive with at least one digit on each line.

Loved it, tricky break-in but fairly smooth from there. Thanks!

Cool ruleset. Took a while to figure out the break in but enjoyable deduction to find it and very smooth thereafter.
