This puzzle is a collaboration with Chad as part of a puzzle setting contest held by mnasti2 in the Sudoku Skunkworks. Teams were assigned puzzles from a pool selected by participants, in which we were to make a mashup puzzle using two of our assigned puzzles. We chose Gravity by mnasti2 and Everything in its Right Place by marty_sears as our inspiration, both of which are excellent puzzles that I highly recommend you check out!
Ratings, comments, and feedback are much appreciated! Please feel free to reach out to me on Discord if you have any comments or questions. Please also feel free to try my other puzzles here.
Rules:
- Place the digits 1-9 in the grid such that digits do not repeat in any row, column, or 3x3 box.
- All clues except the snake ends (more on that later) have fallen straight down (vertically) out of the bottom of the grid, without changing orientation or passing through any other clue (ignoring snake ends). No two clues ever overlapped. Given digits below the grid are considered clues for all purposes.
- Standard rules for arrows, killer cages, and region sum lines apply (see below for full rules).
- Draw 2 snakes which must each begin and end at a different blue spot. Snakes are lines which may move orthogonally and diagonally between cells. They may touch and/or cross each other (or themselves), but they must not branch, share cells, or enter other clues (including given digits).
- A digit on a snake indicates exactly how many times that digit appears on that snake. For example, if there is a 5 on a snake, there are five 5s on that snake.
- Each snake may contain no more than three different low digits (selected from 1, 2, 3, 4).
- One snake is a Dutch Whisper line. Along it, adjacent digits must differ by at least 4.
- One snake is a ten line. Along it, digits must be broken into one or more contiguous groups of cells that add to ten. Such groups cannot overlap. Digits may repeat within such sums if allowed by other rules.
- Other standard constraint rules:
- Arrows: Digits on an arrow must sum to the digit placed in that arrow's circle.
- Killer cages: Digits in cages must sum to the number in the top left corner of the cage.
- Region sum lines: Box borders split blue lines into sections, and the digits on those sections must sum to the same value.

Note: For solution check to work, place all correct digits in the 9x9 grid, and delete any notes in cells below the grid.
