Pentomino Sight Lines

Normal sudoku rules apply.
Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive; not all such dots are shown.
The indicated 60-cell white region contains one each of the twelve standard pentominoes (no repeats by rotation or reflection).
Each pentomino contains exactly one given digit. That digit indicates the number of cells of the pentomino that are "seen" orthogonally from that position (including itself).
The arrangement of pentominoes must be deduced.
Once placed, each pentomino behaves like a 5-cell killer cage: digits do not repeat and must sum to the value listed below (using standard pentomino labeling):
F=30, I=26, L=24, N=17, P=33, T=17 U=15, V=25, W=26, X=25, Y=23, Z=31

Great puzzle! I really enjoyed this. The logic in determining the pentomino layout was really cool and the actual puzzle following that was fun!

Wonderful! I love Pentominoes! I recommend to solve it via the CTC link. The colors there are very useful :)

Thank you, I very much enjoyed the puzzle. Due to @thoughtbyte's experience, I'll mention that I did get the "correct solution" confirmation from the CTC app.

Very nice puzzle, thanks! FYI, it seems that even though my solution code is correct, the CTC app says it is not the solution. Normally if a solution is not provided, it says it doesn't know if it's right or not. So there might be an incorrect solution encoded in the CTC link?
edit: possibly a software bug, or more likely i had typoed a digit not in the code.
