Schrödinger's Arrows

(Eingestellt am 14. Januar 2022, 04:34 Uhr von starwarigami)

Place the digits 0-9 in the grid so that every row, column, and 3x3 box contains every digit exactly once.
To enable this, there is a single Schrödinger cell in each box, containing a superposition of two different digits.
  • The sum of digits in cells along an arrow equals the sum of the digit(s) in the connected circle.
  • Digits in cells along a marked diagonal sum to the indicated total.

Very nicely constructed! I actually found this one to be easier than some of the other S-cell puzzles, and it solved very smoothly with only one or two steps where I had to spend considerable time looking for the next deduction.

It took me a bit long to figure out this rule set but this was a very interesting and fun puzzle to solve, thank you!

@ SudokuExplorer: Sum of all the digits on an arrow equals the sum of all the digits in this arrow's circle; if as a special case there is only one digit in the circle, then it's just that digit that the ones on the arrow have to sum up to.

In your example, R3C7 is either 9 or, if it's a Schrödinger cell too, must contain two digits summing to 9.

I am a little confused by the arrow rules.
For example, if R4C6=2 and R5C6=3&4 then must R3C7 contain a 9 or contain both 5 & 6.

@SudokuExplorer sorry for the confusion! In your example, R3C7 must contain a 9, or two digits summing to 9

Brilliant puzzle! Very happy that I managed to solve this one. Thank you very much for the puzzle and the fascinating idea with the Schrödinger cells in general!
