No Killing Sudoku

(Eingestellt am 26. November 2020, 07:30 Uhr von bigger)

Standard sudoko rules applies. Fill the grid with numbers from 1 to 6 so each digit occurs exactly once in every row, column and 2x3 box in both sudoku.

Number 1 to 4 are assassins. They are all given specific orders to kill anyone in a certain direction in the same room, which can also be called a 2X3 box. 1 stabs anyone on top of him. 2 murders anyone under him. 3 terminates anyone he sees on the left and 4 obliterates anyone he sees on the right. 5 is a wall that can block the assassins sight and 6 is just empty floor that will not stop the assassin from killing.

However, nobody is dead. the assassins can't see anything beyond 5, the wall or another box. Can you figure out what happen there?

It's a variation from the blind spot Sudoku. You definitely should check it out. I just story mode the rules.

blind spot Sudoku

Maybe I should put one more since it's just 6X6

This puzzle is made by Old Miles from China. The oringinal one use Chinese characters over numbers, which I personally think would be too hard for people to decode and provide unnecessary trouble for solver to decode characters into numbers and fininsh the whole puzzle in number version. So I only put the less aestheic ones up. Still hope you would like it. And Wecoc, nice idea, can't wait to see more.

It's just a following thought.

Fine, you ask, you get, happy? I actually would put the oringinal ones up. Yes, there is a different hard one. Old Miles thinks it's too hard to frustrate people so he made an easy one, aka the first one you submit. And I know you can guess from the shape to decode the character into direction (maybe not for the wall and floor, but hey, extra challenge, you'll like it) The following is just an extra for those who are curious, nothing to submit, maybe some fun.

Lösungscode: row 6 of the first Sudoku and row 1 of the second (12 digits)

agree that 2 stars reflects the size of the puzzle. thanks

I like the idea of the blocks, it makes it less obvious. The first one was a bit too easy, but the second one was very nice to solve.

Very nice, but not so easy for beginners of this type. I'd like to see one with Chinese characters. I replaced the numbers by arrows anyway, makes it easier ;-).

bigger:fine, update version will come tommorrow.Actually, I know arrows are easier, but it would be hard to use Sudoku tecknique and harder to submit the solution code. The reason why it's 2 star is simply because it's 6X6, and I think the difficulty is on par with the one step higher Sudoku. but a lot of you think it's a 2 star, so I just don't want to fail your expection for a harder puzzle
