Rules:

Polyominous

Divide the grid into polyominoes (i.e. orthogonally connected groups of 2 or more cells).
Some borders between polyominoes have been given.

No polyomino can contain a collection of cells within it that is the exact same shape as the full shape of an orthogonally neighbouring polyomino (rotations/reflections count as the same shape).
(E.g. if one 4-cell polyomino is just a fully horizontal line of cells, then any polyomino touching it orthogonally cannot be or contain a horizontal or vertical line of 4 adjacent cells.)

Polyominoes containing the same letter are the same size and shape.

Sudoku

Also divide the grid into regions of exactly 9 cells each. Regions do NOT necessarily need to be a single fully connected group of cells, but each polyomino does belong entirely to a single region.
(I.e. a region could consist of polyominoes that are not next to each other.)

Fill a digit from 1-9 into each cell such that no digit repeats in any row, column or region.

Cells with the same letter contain the same digit.

If a polyomino contains a pink circle, all digits in that polyomino form a valid renban (i.e. a set of consecutive digits in any order).

White circles contain a digit that is a factor of the size of the polyomino they're in. (E.g. a white circle in a 4-cell polyomino contains a 1, 2 or 4.)

Beautiful puzzle! The easier polyominous puzzle helped a lot to understand the restrictions and the logic. I still had to keep rereading the rules since it felt impossible to construct all the regions.
