T-Rex (Anti-Queen Quattroquadri)
(Published on 24. June 2026, 21:17 by damo_89)
Corgi inspired me to set a quattroquadri that included Anti-Queen. I thought the idea had legs, specifically the running legs of a tiny T-Rex, and paired this with a modular line. Feedback welcome. Good luck!
- Quattroquadri: Place the digits 1 to 9 in the grid such that digits do not repeat in any row, column, or 3x3 box
- Anti-Queen: Digits may not repeat a Queen's move away (in chess). I.e. no digit may appear more than once on any diagonal in this puzzle
- Modular Line: A run of three cells on a teal modular line must have different remainders when divided by 3, i.e. one digit from (1, 4, 7), one from (2, 5, 8), and one from (3, 6, 9)
- Kropki: A white dot separates digits which are consecutive. A black dot separates digits where one is double the other. No negative constraint
Play on Sudokupad (NB: Conflict checker should work for the diagonals in this puzzle. You can change the settings in Sudokupad to only highlight "Classic Sudoku" if you don't want this extra assistance.)
