Oil and Water Puzzle Pack

0 : Oil and Water Mini

Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply.

Each cage is either full of "oil" (even digits), full of "water" (odd digits), or a mix of both. In all cases, each "row" within a cage is of just one type (oil or water). Oil floats on water, so even digits will always be in rows above odd digits in mixed cages.

Digits in cages do not repeat.

Digits in cages must sum to the small clue, if given.

Cool concept. Quite original.

Lovely. Had to restart once because I got confused making even numbers blue and forgetting they were oil.

Great mini! I thought the overall clue density was perfect and i don’t see a problem with multiple ways to solve. I also recently finished your excellent snake in the ctc app. Thank you so much for it and the handwritten hints! I learned so much solving each puzzle then going back to read the hints simplest path. By the end of the pack my solves were much closer to the intended path!

Nice and easy, thanks for setting and sharing. I found the 2 cell cage in c1 and b3 useless to the solve.

Thank you for creating and sharing this neat little puzzle.
I think there’s at least one useless cage…?
