Parity Fun 29

(Published on 16. May 2026, 10:00 by galium_odoratum)

This time a mines sweeper inspired puzzle, which should be quite approachable. Have fun!

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Mines and Detectors: Even digits are mines. Some odd digits act as mine detectors and are marked with symbols:
  1. Diamond: Counts the number of mines in the up to eight surrounding cells.
  2. Square: Counts the number of orthogonally adjacent mines.
  3. Circle: Counts the number of mines a knight’s move away (as in chess).
White Kropki Dots: Digits separated by a white dot must be consecutive.

Fog: Some clues are hidden by fog. Entering a correct digit clears that cell from the fog.

Some of the symbols hidden by the fog are not needed for the solve and are just there as validation points/for fun.
