Parity Fun 14

(Eingestellt am 31. Januar 2026, 11:23 Uhr von galium_odoratum)

This time I decided to create an original version and an alternate, more beginner friendly version (~0.5* easier I would guess), though both should be fairly approachable. Have fun!

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Positive parity diagonal: Digits along the positive diagonal cannot repeat. In addition, the diagonal acts as a parity mirror: the parity of each cell (odd or even) is mirrored symmetrically across the diagonal.

Roman Numerals: Two orthogonally adjacent digits joined by a Roman numeral must sum to the value indicated by that numeral. Not all such clues are necessarily given.

Fog: Some clues are hidden by the fog and will be revealed when needed.

This was quite a challange for me personally, I problably shoud have tried the more approachable version. But still a very fun and rewarding challange, I enjoyed the logic. Thank you for setting :)

Sorry if I'm being stupid, but how can the parity mirror across the diagonal? If box 1 has 4 evens and 5 odds, wouldn't that imply box 9 has 4 odds and 5 evens?

-The mirror is identical and not the opposite: every cell which is even in box 1 is mirrored as even cell to box 9. Eg. r1c1 has the same parity as r9c9 and so on. ~galium
