Mystery Sandwiches or X-Sums

X-Sums: the sum of the first X cells in the row/column from that direction, where X is the first digit in the row/column.
Sandwiches: Clues outside the grid show the sum of the digits between the Y and the Z in that row/column, where Y and Z are consistent for the whole puzzle.
Inspiration to combine sandwiches and X-Sums comes from this puzzle by shye.
