Whispering Knights Sudoku
Inspiration for this type comes from Gravatus.
Solve online in F-Puzzles or in Penpa or in CtC-App (thanks Greg and Nick Smirnov!)
Apply classic sudoku rules.
The middle 3x3 block is a magic square: the sum of the digits in each row, column and diagonal of that block is the same. Digits that are connected by a grey line have to be placed at a knights move in the middle 3x3 block. Not all possible grey lines are drawn.
Solution code: Row 1, followed by column 7.

I agree henrypijames, but may be we used the same line of solve and it's not the only one

The line in box 4 is not needed (if I remember my solve correctly).

@Lizzy01: imagine the middle box is not a magic square but filled with:
123
456
789
Two cells connected by a grey line anywhere in the grid must be connected by a Knights move in the middle block.
So on a grey line could be connected:
1-6;
1-8;
2-7;
2-9
etc.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

I've got a feeling I'm not understanding the rules correctly. I've tried it 3 times, every time slower and more carefull than the last, and every time I've ended up with a contradiction somewhere.

I don't know. As usual gabi did the translation, and she didn't do the Original puzzle as well. Should I change it?
