The small clue in the top left corner of some cages indicates the sum of the contained digits.
Digits in cages must be greater than adjacent digits outside the cage.

Wow! This puzzle took me over 6 hours to solve without bifurcation. There IS a logical solution path without bifurcation, but it is WELL hidden, buried under layers of intricate fortress logic. I'm not sure how you managed to set this without driving yourself crazy, but congratulations on making a brainteaser for the ages. This is one of my proudest solves to date and I imagine it will remain unchallenged for quite a while.
