Sudoku: Standard rules apply (place the digits 1-9 in every row, column, and 3x3 box).

Double, Nothing, or Worse (DNW): Every row, column, and 3x3 box contains one DNW cell. DNW cells contain the digits 1-9, once each. The value of each DNW cell is either double the value of its digit, zero, or the negative value of its digit. Additionally, each DNW constraint (double, zero, or negative) appears exactly once in each band of three boxes. [For example, if the DNW cell in box 1 used the double-value constraint, then the double-value constraint cannot be used for the DNW cell in boxes 2 or 3 (same row band) or in boxes 4 or 7 (same column band).]

All other variant sudoku rules (detailed below) are standard.

Arrow: The value in the open circle equals the sum of the values along the line. Digits and/or values may repeat along the arrow.

XV: Values on either side of an X sum to 10. Values on either side of a V sum to 5.

Renban: Values along the magenta line are consecutive, in any order. Values along the line do not repeat.

Black Kropki Dots: Values on either side of a black dot have a 1:2 ratio (one value is twice the other).

Slow Thermometer: Values must not decrease along the thick gray line when moving from the bulb (circle) to the tip.

German Whisper: Adjacent cells along the green line have values that differ by at least 5.
