To introduce my students of our Mindbenders Week 2026 to the chaos construction rule, I tried to create an approachable puzzle for solvers without any experience on this. Have fun and leave a comment.
Rules:
Chaos Construction: In every row and column, each digit from 1 to 9 occurs exactly once. In addition, there are 9 continuous regions in which each digit from 1 to 9 occurs exactly once. The shape of these regions have to be determined by the solver. Some borders are given.
Digits on Thermos are strictly increasing from bulb to tip. Digits along a thermometer belong to the same region.
Digits in cells separated by a black dot are in a 2:1 ratio and DO belong to the same region.
Digits in cells separated by a white dot are consecutive and DO NOT belong to the same region.
Lösungscode: Digits of the region containing the center cell r5c5 in normal reading order (rowwise left to right)

Fun beginner puzzle, quite impressive to make a CC grid with such busy setup there xd
(also quick congrats for the 100th puzzle milestone over here)
