Back in February I set a little 6x6. This puzzle had one grid, and the solver could choose whether they wanted to solve the puzzle with Between Lines or with Double Arrows, each netting a different solution. I knew I wanted to set a 9x9 with the same concept but neither constraint is particularly easy to work with and I kept setting into a cul-de-sac.

Eventually I managed to find a grid with a between lines set up that I liked, and a valid Double Arrow resolution as well. However, the double arrow version was unsolvable without extensive bifurcation so I had to add a couple extra clues to make this solvable by a human, or at least this human!

Both puzzles I expect to be in the 2-3 star range. Good luck!

• Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1 to 9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box
• Odd: Digits on an orange circle must be odd
• Then choose:
  • Between Lines: Digits on a pink line must be strictly between the digits in the attached circles
  • Double Arrows: Digits on a jade green line must sum to the same number as the sum of the two attached circles
