Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
All lines are both German Whispers lines and fortress cells.
German Whispers: Adjacent digits on a line must have a difference of at least 5.
Fortress (maximum cells): Cells on a line must be larger than all orthogonal neighbors of the cell that are not on a line.

Very cool puzzle. I disagree that it’s a 1 star, because it’s like having multiple subtle break-ins, but it’s still relatively easy and very worth the attempt.
