Welcome Pokemon trainer to the Doku Region, your journey is about to begin.

Your challenge is to beat all 8 gyms on your way to the pokemon league (the “9th gym”). You begin your journey in your hometown. From there you will find your path from town to town, defeating gyms along the way.

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Draw a line that only moves orthogonally. The line begins at your home (R1C2) and must enter every box only once. The line must pass through the pokeball in each box. Box borders divide the line into segments, the product of the digits on each segment determines the segment’s value. A gym’s value is determined by the 1 or 2 digit number in the box over it. (Read to the right or down)

Within each box, the value of the segment in that box must equal the value of the gym plus the digit in the pokeball. Gym values must increase as your line progresses through the boxes. The blue lines are water and cannot be crossed until you leave the box with the 5th gym.
