A Decade of Residual Whispers

My friend (lgastako) made a puzzle yesterday with a neat mechanic. So, I was inspired to make this puzzle. Please enjoy and as always feedback is appreciated and useful!
- Normal Sudoku Rules: Fill each row, column, and 3x3 box with the digits 1-9 once each.
- Global Modularity: Every 2x2 box must contain at least one digit from each of the sets {1,4,7}, {2,5,8} and {3,6,9}.
- German Whispers: Along green lines, digits must differ from their neighbors by at least 5.
- Killer Cages: Digits in cages must not repeat and must sum to the number in the upper left corner of the cage (if present).
- Extra Regions: Every shaded region must also contain the digits 1 through 9 without repeats.

Very nice! I found a totally vicious step, that really helped me a lot, but may not have been the way to do this. Still a 3 star puzzle to me, because of some tricky bits. Thanks!

Great puzzle. There was one very tricky bit near the beginning, then it was smooth sailing.
