Intro:

Most of my puzzles are set to be just that, puzzles - collections of logic for a solver to follow until the puzzle is solved and completed and that's great. For the first time since I started setting, this puzzle is meant to be more than that, to have a real meaning behind it.

Over the years I'd estimate 100s of different folks have tested my puzzles. While I do my best to say thanks after each puzzle has been tested, I feel now that I really need to go beyond that. As an author needs their editors or theatre actors need their off stage crews, we as setters need testers. They help shape and guide our work to its final form. But it's more than just that, for example, again and again I've seen testers give encouragement and pass along wisdom to new setters, who are sometimes posting their very first puzzle.

While setters' names are most often the ones that appear on screen or are mentioned in videos and streams, the typically un-named testers deserve just as much credit and appreciation. Thus, this puzzle is a token of that appreciation. I believe most if not all setters would agree that we really owe so much to them, that we wouldn't be here without their help and support...and they are freaking amazing!

The Rules of this Puzzle:

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Adjacent digits along dashed orange lines must have a difference of 4 or more. Digits along solid purple lines form a consecutive set. Each set of three consecutive digits along a hollow peach line will contain one low digit (1,2,3), one medium digit (4,5,6) and one high digit (7,8,9).

In each box containing a cage, sum all digits which are on two lines, and write that number into the cage. Two digit numbers must be entered left-to-right or top-to-bottom. For example, in box 1, the digit in R3C3 will be the sum of R1C2+R2C2.

The digit in the cell with the green square is equal to the sum of all of the ten's digits from every two digit number. The digit in the cell with the blue circle is equal to the sum of all of the one's digits from every two digit number.
