(Published on 5. September 2026, 16:04 by Ollos)

Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply.

Place 5 more knights and 5 more bishops on the puzzle so that all 6 for both have one on every row, column and 2x3 box.
A cell cannot be both a knight and a bishop.

The knight: no knight can see another knight a chess knight's move away.

The bishop: no bishop can see another bishop in their diagonals.

A digits in a knight cannot see itself a knight's move away.
A digits in a bishop cannot see itself in their diagonals.

Digits connected by a white dot must be consecutive.

Solution code: The numbers on every bishop top to bottom, then the numbers on every knight top to bottom.

Lovely puzzle indeed, but nowhere close to 1* difficulty. The bishop half of the solve almost pushes it to 3*

I enjoyed this. It was fun near the end, when I had to rule out a value by using the way the bishop rule meant a cell "saw" more values than you'd normally expect.
