Region Prime Line I

(Published on 31. August 2026, 12:23 by PianoForte)

A new twist to my series of prime constraint puzzles...
Region Sum lines with Prime Constraint

Rules:

  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Box borders divide region prime lines into segments of equal sum.
  • That sum is always prime but may vary for different lines.
  • Adjacent digits within those segments must add to a prime number.
To clarify: This does not apply across box borders, but does apply to both, orthogonally and diagonally adjacent digits on each line segment within a box.
  • Squares mark cells with even digits, cirlces those with odd digits.

Quite enjoyed this very nice puzzle, PianoForte; thank you for sharing!

I must have missed the 2* solution path, but in retrospect I did spend the first thirty minutes taking notes about which digits formed valid 2– and 3-sequences. Then partway into the solve I had to restart when I noticed 13 ≠ 11.
