Mexican Standoff
(Published on 27. August 2026, 22:35 by starwarigami)
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Fully colour the grid with three colours A, B, and C, such that each cage is completely filled with only one colour, all cells of the same colour are orthogonally connected, and no 2x2 area of the grid is completely filled by one colour.
The colour of certain cells has been given.
Digits may not repeat in a cage, and each cage sums to a unique total.
The cages marked with a letter in the top left corner sum to the number of squares in the grid filled with that colour.
Cages filled with the same colour all have the same remainder when divided by 3.

Brilliant puzzle, 100% well deserved. Mathy, which I am apparently pretty good at, because I experienced it as a 3 to 4 star puzzle. Thanks
