Normal 5x5 sudoku rules apply.
1. Digits on a thermo may stay the same, or increase in value. They never decrease in value.
- The green light has all 5 digits on it's thermo, the fastest of the three lights!
- The yellow light is buffering in two places leaving it only able to register 3 of the 5 digits!
- The red light has completely stopped after the second digit, but only 1 digit was able to register on it!
2. A white dot separates consecutive digits, not all dots are given.
The gray squares are strictly cosmetic, and don't affect the puzzle!

Updated the cover picture, removed the yellow squares to make easier to see what's going on in the puzzle.

I think the yellow squares detract from the puzzle. The colored circles inside the gray squares would represent a traffic light just fine on their own.
Fun snack, though. Thanks.
