KropkiSkySudoku 001 (12x12)

(Published on 21. August 2026, 16:54 by Rätselmann)

Solve the puzzle in SudokuPad

Enter the numbers 1–12 so that each of them appears exactly once in every row, column and boldly outlined 3×4 region.

  • The numbers in each dashed cage sum to the indicated total. Numbers may not repeat within a cage.
  • A black dot between two cells means that one of their numbers is exactly twice the other. A white dot means that the two numbers differ by 1. Not all possible dots are given.
  • The entered numbers represent buildings of the corresponding heights. A clue outside the grid indicates how many buildings are visible from that direction. Taller buildings hide shorter buildings behind them. Not all outside clues are given.

SudokuPad input: SudokuPad uses the letters A, B and C for the values 10, 11 and 12. Therefore, A=10, B=11 and C=12. If the letters are not displayed, enable the “Letter Tool” under “Settings” and then use the “9/A” button to switch to letter input.

If you enjoy this combination, I would be happy to hear your thoughts: Would you also be interested in a more compact 9×9 version, or should the next one be an even larger 16×16 puzzle?

Solution code:

Row 4 from left to right in SudokuPad notation, without spaces (A=10, B=11,C=12).

My first 12x12, what a marathon. 16x16 is crazy talk.
I think 9x9 would get more people giving it a try but it is obviously less distinctive.
