Loved the puzzle, but I never used the number 12 in the solve. Why the title ? Also... I published a puzzle the same day as yours, and I hesitated between 'box indexers' and 'twelve fifteen' for the title !! That would have been a crazy coincidence, but I chose the former.

JA: first, figure out the sum of the digits not on the lines in the corner boxes. Next, see where the big numbers can or can't go (7-9), specifically if a big number is already there (on the grey line). Keep working that and youll find combinations for the sum to 15 reduced quite quickly. Goduku helps if you need it!
