A Cubist Sudoku
Picassodoku - Dance Mouse
Ratio Arrows × Value Sandwiches

“Dont let these arrows scurry away.”

Rules

1. Sudoku: Place the digits 1–9 in every row, column, and 3×3 box without repetition.

2. RATIO ARROWS Each circled bulb contains a normal Sudoku digit d. Its effective VALUE is the sum of the digits on its arrow shaft. That VALUE is either d ÷ 2 or 2d.

circle digit = d
VALUE = sum of shaft digits
VALUE = d/2  or  2d

3. VALUE SANDWICHES Digits 1 and 9 are the bread and are not included in the sum. Every cell strictly between them contributes its VALUE.

An ordinary cell has VALUE equal to its digit. If a ratio-arrow circle lies between the 1 and 9, it contributes its effective arrow VALUE instead of the digit written in the circle.

This is really hard -- I can't see what to do after a little bit in row 1.

Also, you've posted six of these in the past four days! I think we may need a little time to grasp this new rule. And/or perhaps, an easier version?
