Squeeze Theorem (S-cell, Sandwich)

(Eingestellt am 9. August 2026, 04:25 Uhr von SeveNateNine)

Shrodinger Sudoku: Place the digits 0-9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box. To allow this, one cell in each row, column, and box, will contain two digits, referred to as an S-cell.

In the finished grid, the set of S-cells will contain each digit from 1-9 exactly twice.

Quantum Sandwiches: Clues outside the grid are the sum of cells between the cell positions which correspond to the digits in the S-cell in that row or column. In other terms, if A, and B, are the digits in the s-cell, then the outside clue sums the digits between (not including) cell positions A and B in that row or column.

Example: Consider the row 4820[17]9635. The outside clue would sum between positions 1 and 7. The digits summed would be 8,2 0 1,7,and 9, making the sandwich clue 27.

Solve on CTC

Lösungscode: Row 2 followed by row 8 (20 digits). For S-cells, the lower digit always comes first.
