Myopia Whisper Yin Yang

Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Yin Yang: Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected, all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected, and no 2x2 area is fully shaded or fully unshaded.
The shaded region acts as a German Whispers line: if two orthogonally connected cells are both shaded, then the digits in those cells must have a difference of at least 5.
Cells containing arrows indicate ALL of the orthogonal directions which tie for having a shaded cell appearing closest to the clued cell. Cells containing clues cannot be shaded.
A digit in a clued cell counts the combined total number of shaded cells in all directions indicated by the arrow(s) in that cell.
6x6 Example:
The image below shows a sample 6x6 puzzle and solution with the same rule set.
Note: For 6x6 Sudoku, adjacent digits on a German Whispers line must have a difference of at least 3 (instead of the usual 5)
