Averaging squares 2

Here is an easier and (hopefully) nicer version of my previous puzzle utilising the averaging square constraint. It should still be quite challenging.

Rules:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply: fill each row, column and box with the digits from 1 to 9, each appearing exactly once.

  • Blue averaging squares: Starting from a blue square, in each of the 4 orthogonal direction, there exists a continuous sequence of digits starting from the clue whose average is equal to the digit in the clue (See exemple below). If the clue is next to the edge of the grid, the rule only applies to the 3 other directions.

  • Extra region: All squares (blue or grey) contain different digits.

  • Averaging little killer: A clue outside the grid gives the exact average of the digits on the indicated diagonal.

  • An inequality sign points to the smaller digit.

Looks very daunting at first, but once you start thinking about it, it becomes a lot more understandable (though not very trivial, of course). Very well-put puzzle! ;)
