Here is a simple experiment with region sum lines and difference dots that I made a while ago. It's pretty straightforward - please enjoy.

Very good puzzle, 22:35 to solve. I agree with the 2* difficulty, as there was a few challenges that I had to work through.

Nice puzzle. Regarding the wording: Two things cannot be between one thing. You probably mean two digits connected by a white dot. :)
