Puzzle rules
This is a refinement of a puzzle I made for Scojo's Palindrome/Look and Say Cage puzzle prompt at SudokuCon 2026 in Manchester
Play here on Sudokupad: The puzzle wot I set
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
On a grey Palindrome line, two digits the same distance from the central dot are the same.
Cages are "look and say" cages. Split the cage clue into pairs of digits. For example 414235 becomes 41/42/35. Each pair of digits becomes a description of part of the cage contents. A cage containing this clue would contain four ones (41), four twos (42) and three fives (35). This example is the clue for the central cage. Digits can repeat in cages where the other rules allow.
As an extra challenge in the spirit of SudokuCon - how quickly can you fill in a first digit? Finding the "easy" digit won't advance the solve much, but I was pleased to be able to include it.
Lösungscode: Row 5
