Rules

• Standard sudoku rules apply: Fill the grid with digits 1-9 so that no digit repeats in any row, column or 3×3 box.

• Yin Yang: Shade the whole grid using two colours, such that all cells of each colour are orthogonally connected and no 2x2 area is entirely one colour. In this puzzle, the centre cell is unshaded. Cells joined by a dot, or occupying opposite ends of a thermometer or line, are of different shadings.
• Hot/Cold (Modifier): Ice emanates from the Snow Dragon and causes a cell to have a value one less than the digit it contains. Fire emanates from the Fire Dragon and causes a cell to have a value one more than the digit it contains. The value of the unshaded centre cell is unaltered.

• Hot/Cold Thermometers: Along a grey thermometer, values must strictly increase or decrease from the bulb to the tip. If the bulb is shaded Yang/Fire, then the thermometer is an increasing type. If the bulb is shaded Yin/Ice, then the thermometer is a decreasing type.
• Black Kropki Dots: A black dot connects two values where one is exactly double the other.
• Green Kropki Dots: A green dot connects two values with a difference of 5 or more.
• Red Kropki Dots: A red dot connects two values where one is odd and the other is even.
• Equal Sum Lines: A purple line must be divided into two or more non-overlapping segments that have the same sum. Different lines may have different sums. The segments are unmarked and must be discovered by the solver. For clarity, the centre cell is part of the 3-cell line.

The centre 3x3 box will decide the outcome of this battle. Add up the cells' values for each shading in this box to discover the fate of the dragons.
