Thanks to everyone who has solved the puzzle and taken the time to comment. I genuinely appreciate any positive or negative feedback, as it helps me become a better setter.
I want to clarify that the note in the instructions was simply intended to acknowledge that familiarity with the ruleset may significantly change the solving experience. It wasn't meant to suggest that the puzzle's official difficulty was lower. I rated the overall difficulty 2 stars because that's what I believe it is. It's completely fine to disagree with my rating, and I welcome polite comments expressing that disagreement.
However, I personally don't find sarcastic or dismissive comments to be helpful. I set puzzles as a hobby because I enjoy creating them, and I share them here hoping others will enjoy solving them too. I appreciate this community and would like to help keep it welcoming and respectful.

So.. Am I solving a 1-star puzzle in 30 minutes ? really?

I quite agree with the 1*, but indeed a good lot of experience with anti-knight&king is a prerequisite.

2* for me, but I’m not enormously familiar with the rule set. Really enjoyed it, thanks!

to the setter, and i repeat ... because a rating system that is SUBJECTIVE is fundamentally MEANINGLESS, and this is a principle that is worth fighting for

I think this is probably 2*, but most of it is pretty straight forward.
I did enjoy it so thanks addie for setting it up.

VitP, I'm not sure why a note I included that this puzzle will be easier for those who know how the rule combo works seems to bother you so much. When I playtested this puzzle, I solved it twice--once assuming familiarity with the ruleset and once without. One method was clearly easier than the other. You are welcome to rate the puzzle's difficulty after solving it, as I'm sure you know the difficulty rating is based on the average opinion of the solvers of the puzzle. Hope this helps :)

there is no world in which this is a level 1. a rating system needs to be OBJECTIVE, and rate the PUZZLE, not the skill of whoever happens to solve it on that particular day.
