Rules
-
Standard Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-9 once each in every line, column and 3×3 box.
-
Modifier Cells. Shade some cells in the puzzle, such that each row, column and 3x3 box contains exactly one shaded cell. Additionally, digits in the shaded cells do not repeat.
-
Values. The value of an unshaded cell is its digit. The value of a shaded cell is one more than the digit it contains.
-
Counting Circles. The value of a circled cell counts how many circled cells have that value.
-
Kropki dots. Cells separated by a white dot, have consecutive value. Cells separated by a black dot have value with ratio 1:2.

Quite a brain breaker to even get started, but very satisfying to complete.

Fantastic! Such a tiny twist on familiar rules gives such a major sting in the brain! Very clever and enjoyable. Thanks

Reply by TrivialHomology: Thank You for the kind words! Setting this one felt very much like exploring where the few simple rules guided me. After the initial set-up of the circles, the puzzle basically set itself. I would be very curious to see this idea developed a bit more :)
