Sudoku
- Fill the grid with the digits 0–9.
- Every row, column, and box must contain each digit 0–9 exactly once.
Fortresses
- A maximum (orange) fortress contains a digit that is greater than the value of each orthogonally adjacent cell.
- A minimum (blue) fortress contains a digit that is smaller than the value of each orthogonally adjacent cell.
S Cells
- Exactly one S cell appears in every row, column, and box.
- An S cell contains two different digits.
- Both digits count individually toward the Sudoku requirement that every row, column, and box contains each digit 0–9 exactly once.
- For fortress constraints, the value of an S cell is the sum of its two digits.
- No fortress can be an S cell.
