Normal sudoku rules apply.
XV: Digits in cells joined by an X sum to 10. Digits in cells joined by a V sum to 5.
Sandwich: Digits between the 1 and the 9 in a row or column sum to the clue given outside that row or column.
Ripple Cells: A ripple cell shows how many of its orthogonal neighbors are consecutive with it (differ by 1 from the ripple cell's own digit). The icon indicates this count, with a small number for clarity. The count is exact: every other orthogonal neighbor is not consecutive with it.
The Carnation, that noble flower, reveals its full character only to those who
possess both patience and discernment. Its petals, finely serrated as though
trimmed by a court tailor, unfold in deliberate ceremony, each day granting
some new refinement of form. It is a bloom for the cultivated mind,
demanding years of constancy before it consents to perfection.
Solution code: Box 9, from left to right, top to bottom. All 9 digits.

Lovely! The ripple cells were interesting to play with, and they interacted nicely with everything else going on in the puzzle.
