Normal sudoku rules apply. Each 2x2 box in a grid has contain low digit {1,2,3}, middle digit {4,5,6} and high digit {7,8,9}. Digits along each thermometer must strictly increase from the bulb end. The sum of all digits inside each thermometer must equal 20.
Solution code: first 3 digits of row 1

The thermos are a very clever seeding of information, but it took me a lot longer to spread outwards. Challenging, but enjoyable.

I agree. Perhaps I should have warned that, basically, this sudoku is based on entropy, not thermometers. Thanks for the comment!
