easy enough to start.
middle section requires some really long chains (bifurcation), or something totally obscure

I go for a 2*. The break-in was easy, and the interactions between the constraints made for some interesting, but not always easy to spot logic.

Really enjoyable one! I think your initial 1,5* was spot on.
Those renbans just restrict so much that at least getting the number ranges into place was rather easy.
