Another Indexing puzzle! I had a bunch of fun figuring out how to make this work, hope you enjoy!

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Indexing Arrows: Digits along an arrow sum to the number in the attached circle. Additionally, the three digits along an arrow: X, Y and Z, when read from tip to circle, indicate that the cell in Row X and Column Y must contain the digit: Z. Each arrow gives the index of a unique cell. In other words, no two arrows may "point to" the same cell.

Below is an example image of two Indexing Arrows and the cell they each "point to":

Copying my comment from "Tetherabum" by NicoD earlier today: I remembered watching Simon solve "Coordinate Arrows" by Piatato which featured similar logic, so I found it quite easy. Very enjoyable nonetheless!

For me, one of the most enjoyable aha moments I ever had. What a stunning puzzle, which I can fully recommend. Thanks for setting!

Very nice!

The break-in is closer to 4* for me. After that it solved smoothly though it still requires some bookkeeping.

Lots of fun though and definitely a satisfying moment when I finally had all the insights together to get started.

Consider myself a relative beginner to Sudoku, though an avid CTC viewer, and I was able to solve this in exactly 30 minutes by blunt force listing out all possible arrow combinations in a notepad. From there the logic/break-in appeared quite quickly. Give it a try, it was loads of fun and highly rewarding.

Really nice puzzle. The break-in is very neat and takes a bit of thinking through, but once that is done, clear thought navigates a smooth solve. If you see the break-in quickly you have a 2* experience of a 3* puzzle which is deservedly highly rated.

Very nice! The break-in may be tricky (3 stars at least), but if you are lucky like me and make the necessary observation quickly, it is a short and smooth solve. Thanks

A little under 15 minutes of making small observations, but nothing really clicking, then suddenly "Aha!". From there, the puzzle fell in place beautifully. What a fun solve! Thanks for sharing.

I honestly thought it was impossible, but I'm so glad I pushed myself. When it finally clicked, it was brilliant. Thank you so much!

understanding the puzzle is the hardest part - once you understand it, it solves very smoothly. until you do, you're wondering if you're being pranked a little (but that makes the solve even more satisfying)

I agree with others that the difficulty is a bit higher than 2*, but enjoyed this a lot :)

this cannot be level 2.
level 2 needs to mean something like "a beginner, using STANDARD procedures, and a lot of effort, can do this"

At first the rules did not appear to make much sense to me, until I realised that I was reading the arrows backwards. I do think that the opening logic of this puzzle is probably a bit steep for a 2* solver, who might likely not be able to get a single digit in, so I rated this 3*.

Thank you for the feedback! I was also waffling on difficulty rating, so I appreciate the note about opening logic especially.
