Evenly Distributed Chaos

(Eingestellt am 25. Juni 2026, 11:36 Uhr von Vythic)

Play on SudokuPad!

Even Regions: Digits are not repeated in rows or columns. Every cell on the board contains the digits 1-9. There are four orthogonally connected regions on the board containing nine cells with even digits {2, 4, 6, 8}.

A digit on an arrow indicates the length of the uninterrupted run of cells immediately beyond the arrow, in the direction of the arrow, that belong to the same region. The cell with the arrow does not necessarily have to be a part of any region.

Dutch Whispers: Digits along an orange line have a difference of at least 4.

Kropki Dots: Cells separated by a white dot are consecutive.

Lösungscode: Column 1

The regions connect orthogonally like Chaos Construction, except digits can repeat and must be Even. Odd digits are not a part of any region (only restricted in columns/rows).

regions may touch orthogonally or diagonally?

@marcmees That is correct.

Parity Construction Zone got through a few layers of testing without it being noticed that it was broken (including on the CTC Discord), until someone in the comments pointed it out. Apologies for that. I'm probably going to rework the puzzle quite a bit or remake it from scratch.

Q: if I do understand correctly, the cell immediately after the arrow does belong to an even region.

Q: what happened to "parity construction zone"?
