Adjacent digits along dashed green lines must differ by 5 or more.
Digits along solid purple lines form a consecutive set, in any order.
Each set of three consecutive digits along a hollow peach line will contain one low digit (1,2,3), one medium digit (4,5,6) and one high digit (7,8,9).

to start, you have to sort out col 1, which is a bit tricky. the rest is level 1, as long as you focus on basic sudoku.
theme seems to be finding collections of low digits

this puzzle was very fun. always love dealing with cages and here the interactions with the lines were beautiful

I think this was pretty amazing. Took me 34 minutes, which is way more than 2* usually takes so I wouldn't be mad over 2* rating.
The thing is that there isn't really one trick and once you get it things open up. I had to keep thinking throughout the puzzle which made it so rewarding.

Fun puzzle, but I’m a little perplexed how it could possibly be 3 stars. I did this in less than 25 mins even with an initial logic fail caused by missing a possible combination for the 8 cage plus the renban in column 1.

Looks like most solvers agree with your assessment, I had set it at 3 as that's what I heard from the testers.
