- Extend the path orthogonally through white ocean cells until it vanishes elsewhere in the grid. It may not touch itself orthogonally (see example image).
- A digit on a grey island indicates how many of the (up to 8) surrounding cells are on the path.

For a beginner like me, finding the first few steps into the puzzle was more difficult than I expected at 1*. But after that, it went easy and smooth. Thanks for the interesting and approachable puzzle!

I struggled a bit with the definition of "touch orthogonally", but after that it was clarified, it went smoothly.
