Normal sudoku rules apply.
Shade cells using two colours such that each colour forms an orthogonally connected region, and no 2x2 area is a single colour.
A digit in a cell with arrows must match the total count of cells of the opposite colour in all given directions. For example, a 7 in a cell with arrows pointing east and south might be counting 4 cells to the south and 3 to the east. Every arrow points to at least one cell of the opposite colour.

Made it on second attempt!

Very nice puzzle, with very nice flow

Very fun puzzle! Loved the interplay. I've seen this ruleset before but this is definitely the most fun I've had with it!

I messed it up on the first try. But after 40 minutes on the second try I finally figured out what I should have seen a lot sooner.
Very glad I had not seen that it changed from 3 to 4 stars.
Often I will not try a 4 star. But this one was fun.

There we go! Lots of fun, and not so hard that I was burned out at the end.

A very fun YY puzzle. I felt like there was some kind of tension on the left and right edges of the grid. Spicy...

And I broke it anyway. Will have to try again later, got a lunch meeting.

Is it counting cells of the opposite color that are "seen"? or literally all cells of the opposite color in that direction regardless of any toggling?

"...the total count of cells of the opposite colour in all given directions"
~Blobz
Yes, I see that - that's the sentence for which I need clarification, not repetition.
** My hand was forced at one point, so it is every single cell of the opposite color, and its own color does not "block the view".
