This puzzle was inspired by SennyK and sujoyku's "Ascending Sums".
Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Each arrow clue outside the grid directs the path of a slow thermometer that moves diagonally in the indicated direction. The path may extend by bouncing off the edge of the grid at a 90-degree angle and continuing diagonally. Each number clue outside the grid gives the sum of all non-decreasing digits up to (and not including) the first digit that decreases along the path.
(For example, a valid solution to the 54 clue could be: R4C9 = 3, R3C8 = 4, R2C7 = 5, R1C6 = 5, R2C5 = 6, R3C4 = 7, R4C3 = 7, R5C2 = 8, R6C1 = 9, and then R7C2 could be any digit less than 9.)
